Next Youth Board meeting

The South Gloucestershire Youth Board is meeting on 9th February at The Youth support Unit, Chipping Sodbury. The Youth Board has continued to work hard and focus on the issue of Bullying. We are working with the South Gloucestershire Safeguarding Board to look at developing ‘best practice guidelines for schools and other organisations’ to ensure that any young person who is bullied knows where to go for support , advice and information. We are also considering developing ‘screen savers for computers in schools to carry information for young people on Bullying.

Transport survey

What do you think about Public Transport?

From 2010/11 onwards, South Gloucestershire Council are going to spend money each year on improving transport for young people. Let us know what you think by answering these 16 questions. It should take less than 5 minutes and you could win a Student Rail card or an iPod shuffle.
